Vulnerable People in Oxford

If you are a vulnerable (i.e. senior or disabled person) or extremely vulnerable person (see the complete list provided from the PHE), you are strongly advised to stay at home at all times and avoid any face-to-face contact for a period of at least 12 weeks.


The Uk Government has recently launched a registration form to support the most-at-risk category. If you need support in getting deliveries of essential supplies like food, consider to register here.



Additionally, if you belong to this category and living in Oxford, for practical help with the delivery of essential food, and/or collection of prescriptions or even for companionships, you can count on Oxford Hub by filling these forms below:

If you or someone you know has already been identified as extremely vulnerable by the NHS and have no support network, contact the dedicated team on 01865 897820 or email shield@oxfordshire.gov.uk. If you live in Oxford City, you can also phone 01865 24 98 11 between 8am and 5pm or fill this form from the Oxford City Council website :






Age Uk Oxfordshire has launched a new free telephone support service to offer advice and assistance during this uncertain times. The number is 01865 411 288, leave a message and an advisor will call you back ASAP. (Please note this is not an emergency medical service, please ring 111 for medical advice and 999 in a medical emergency).




Sofea (South Oxfordshire Food and Education Alliance), will provide food boxes to their Community Larder members in 12 locations across Oxfordshire at no charge.


Oxfordshire All In has organised a Response Map, a tool for all groups and organisations to coordinate on the Oxfordshire community response to Covid-19.
